As part of our strategy, we are currently looking for a Financial Reporting & General Accounting Specialist to join our Accounting Team directly reporting to our Financial Consolidation & Reporting Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing day-by-day accounting entries, monthly balance sheets account reconciliations, and various types of journal entries review;
- Ensure the correct and timely closure of the monthly book-close under IFRS for the assigned area of the Italian and foreign legal entities;
- Support in the preparation of statutory and consolidated financial statements on a monthly basis;
- Collaborates cross-functionally with the relevant stakeholders in the business to identify accounting impacts of operational initiatives, unusual transactions, new agreements & projects
- Manage day-by-day relationships with foreign fiscal consultants;
- Active participation in the integration of the new entity acquired by the Group.
Requirements
- Good knowledge of IFRS accounting standards;
- Master's degree in Economics;
- Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables;
- Previous experience in Big4 is considered a plus;
- An analytical mindset with problem-solving skills;
- Ability to work in a team;
- Fluency/Native language level in Italian is mandatory;
- English fluent, any additional language (Spanish, French, German) is considered a plus;
- Availability to travel to other MotorK offices a few times per year.
