Junior UX Researcher - Milan - Motork

We are looking to hire a dependable researcher to work on various company projects. The researcher's duties include aligning methodologies with research goals, using a range of tools to acquire, record and interpret data, writing up reports and presenting findings and schedules to stakeholders, identifying trends and patterns, conducting fieldwork and tests when required, as well as protecting databases and confidential information.

An important part of this role is being the custodian of the research repository and organising the process of delivering emergent insights whilst helping to define how the Product org works with research in general

Researcher Responsibilities

• Working closely with Product Designers and Product Managers to help shape research activities
• Facilitating and analysing user interviews
• Applying best-practice methodologies
• Analyzing and interpreting patterns and trends.
• Helping to turn research artefacts into insights
• Working closely with Product Designers to build user personas in order to be used widely across the Product organisation
• Maintaining research repository hygiene
• Define our research repository documentation and taxonomy principles
• Organising qualitative and quantitative data
• Compiling survey data, e.g. NPS reports
• Building out atomic research taxonomy libraries
• Helping to enforcing GDPR & data compliance
• Help define the best approach for user testing participant recruitment, interview logistics and incentivisation management
• Write scripts in order to conduct interviews and build out a template library
• Helping to write screener surveys to recruit participants for moderated interview sessions
• Organising translations of audio and video recorded user interviews

  Researcher requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in research or similar
  • Master's degree preferable, e.g. MsC in Human and Computer Interaction or Masters in Psychology/Sociology
  • Industry experience not necessary
