As a result of this growth, we are looking for a talented Product Designer to join our WebSpark Product team based in Milan.
The role
The Product Designer will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience and interface of our SaaS product by being fully embedded into one of our cross functional teams, reporting directly to the Head of Product. Together with a Product Manager and Tech Lead you will have the opportunity as a trio to follow the product development cycle end to end, from the discovery phase until the value is released to our customers.
The Product Designer will:
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team from idea to execution.
- Develop engaging, user-friendly designs for mobile web, and desktop.
- Utilise user research insights and usability studies to shape the product experience and to iterate solutions.
- Produce high-quality assets and specifications using our design system.
- Contribute to the maintenance and evolution of our design system.
- Participate in strategic decision-making with the product team.
- Seek and provide feedback from fellow designers to enhance design quality.
Requirements
Our ideal Product Designer will have previous experience in product design within a cross functional team, working with Saas products and product development lifecycles. As well as:
- Experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum
- Fluency with Figma
- Firm understanding of design systems
- Confidence with user testing and research techniques
- Highly proactive and self-organising
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Work pattern and location
- Permanent contract, 40 hours per week (full time position)
- Monday to Friday
- Hybrid working pattern
- Office based in Milan
